Sterndrive Deluxe Winterize
Check transom drain plug, treat fuel with stabilizer, test run
Check for proper operating temperature
Test run and take download and note issues
Check charging, spark and cooling, spray decarbonizer through engine
Check choke operation, check fuel system for proper operation
Clean/replace fuel filters and needed
Replace water separator fuel filter
Check condition of belts and tighten, clean flame arrestor
Drain all sea water from engine, shower and heater
Replace plastic drain plugs, fog internal engine parts
Check bellows and hoses, check and change gear lube and washers
Check for water in lube, pressure and vacuum test if water found
Check speedometer pick up
Remove outdrive and check and grease u-joints
Check & grease gimble bearing, install drive, replace gaskets and seals
Remove & check prop, check for fish line, grease shaft and install with new pin
Check water pump output and condition
Check fresh water cooling antifreeze
Check total steering system for ease of operation
Check hydraulic steering system
Grease engine and steering cable
Check power steering fluid and top off
Check trim wear pads
Check TNT and reservoir and fill as needed

Check water pump output and condition
Check fresh water cooling antifreeze
Check total steering system and ease of operation

Check power steering fluid – top off
Check the trim wear pads

Check neutral safety switch and lanyard
Spray power head with Corrosion Block
Check/replace anodes as needed

Our Deluxe Sterndrive or Inboard Winterize is a full winterize with and engine and outdrive service, we also check the boat, boat accessories and trailer. If you need a tune-up, the tune-up should be done in the Spring. Always install the boat drain plug before putting your boat in the water in the Spring or Summer and remember to charge your battery and tighten the battery connections, fill your tank with fresh fuel.
